Begin-Thursday night, April 9, 2015:
Depart for the Land of Israel!

Day 1-Friday, April 10:
Arrival at Ben Gurion airport.
Transfer to your Tel Aviv hotel.

The day begins with a tour of Jaffa and Tel Aviv including the Carmel Market, the Bauhaus neighborhoods and Independence Hall. In the afternoon you will visit the Neot Kedumim Nature Preserve to study the story of Ruth and Naomi.

Day 3-Sunday, April 12:
Start the day by traveling to Zikhron Yaakov to visit the house of Sara Aronson, ‘The Heroine of Nili.” Travel to Haifa the city from a special overlook and then tour the Bahá‘í Gardens. The day ends with a tour of Sfat and you will check into the Mizpe Hayamim Spa Hotel. In the evening a special workshop of song, dance & prayer with Tziona Zilbershtein.

Day 4-Monday, April 13:
The morning starts with a more in-depth study and experience of the spiritual city of Sfat and the Artist Quarter. You will have a Special Meeting with David Friedman, an artist and teacher of Kabbalah (esoteric Judaism) followed by meditation in the fields of Rabbi Ari which inspired L’cha Dodi, a traditional Shabbat Melody to welcome the Shabbat Bride.

Start your day with the beautiful view from the Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the “Sermon on the Mount.” Next will be a visit to Midgal, the hometown of Mary Magdelene. You will enjoy a Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and study the lives of Rachel the wife of Rabbi Akiva in Tiberias and Rachel the Poetess at Kibbutz Kinneret. End the day by traveling through the Jordan River Valley to your Dead Sea Hotel.

Day 6-Wednesday, April 15:
You will have a free Morning to swim in the Dead Sea and visit the spa.  In the afternoon you will visit Masada and learn the “Mothers” role in the siege and heroism of this fortress. This evening there will be a “Spa Experience Party ” with a wine bar, fruit juices, soft candles, music, and more.

Day 7-Thursday, April 16:
Travel to Arad this morning and see the sculpture of the Fountain of Tears. You will then visit a Bedouin village of Lakiya to visit the Bedouin women weavers’ society. From there you will check into your Jerusalem Hotel.

View Jerusalem from the Mt. of Olives, and walk the Palm Sunday Path to the Garden of Gethsemane. With a tour of the city you will see the Church of Mary Magdalene, the Old City of Jerusalem including the Western Wall and a visit to Aish HaTorah. Here we will have a “Gratitude Workshop with Sara Rigler.”

Day 9-Saturday, April 18:
Visit Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem and the Tomb of the Matriarchs (Sarah, Rebecca and Leah) in Hebron. Kay Munayer will share in the evening after dinner about her work with the “poorest of the poor” in the towns around Bethlehem.

Day 10-Sunday, April 19:
Visit Yad VaShem Holocaust Memorial with emphasis on women during the Holocaust. Then you will travel to the home of Tamar Ansh for a workshop on challah baking, the unique weekly ritual performed by women around the world. Finish the day with a walk thru of Manahe Yehuda Market and ending with free time in Jerusalem.  In the evening you will transfer to the airport for return flight home.

Monday, April 20:                                                                                                                Arrive home uplifted and filled with deep gratitude, and many wonderful memories from the Land of Israel.
